Applied Biosystems TaqMan® SNP Genotyping
Applied Biosystems TaqMan® genotyping technology is fluorogenic 5’ nuclease assay, with single tube format and requires no post-PCR processing. The PCR is conducted in the ABI Dual 384-Well GeneAmp® PCR System 9700. PCR plate is read on the ABI PRISM® 7900HT Sequence Detection System with fully automated robotic plate loading, and then analyzed with ABI SDS software.
The Tecan Freedom EVO liquid handling system is used to automate most procedures including DNA sample aliquoting and PCR set up.
Pre-designed/validated and custom TaqMan® SNP Genotyping Assays can be ordered through Applied Biosystems. Insertion-deletions of up to six bases are also supported.
